Island Park
This 50-acre park is located in the center of town and is completely surrounded by the Chippewa River. Facilities include three (3) lighted softball fields, four (4) lighted tennis courts, two (2) lighted basketball courts, two (2) large open air picnic shelters, play equipment, four (4) small picnic shelters, two (2) rest rooms, drinking fountains, picnic tables and grills, four (4) shuffleboard courts, parking areas, four (4) sand volleyball courts, eight (8) horseshoe pits, Little League baseball fields at Pickens Field, Michigan Vietnam Veterans' Memorial, and Timber Town Playscape.

Nelson Park
This five-acre park is situated between Island and Mill Pond Parks and is centrally located in the city. Its central location makes it easy to visit neighboring parks through a nature trail and a crosswalk. This river-front park features picnic tables, canoe landing, grills, and modern restrooms.
